Seit 2019 bin ich Teil des Teams von Translink Deutschland und unterstütze unsere nationalen sowie internationalen Mandanten während des gesamten Transaktionsprozesses. Gestartet habe ich meine Karriere bei PwC im Deal Advisory, gefolgt von einer spannenden Zeit bei Volkswagen im Corporate M&A.

Als Associate Director bei Translink bin ich gemeinsam mit dem verantwortlichen Partner Ihr persönlicher Ansprechpartner entlang des Kauf- oder Verkaufsprozesses. Meine Erfahrungen umfassen nationale sowie grenzüberschreitende Transaktionen mit Parteien aus den USA, Europa und Asien. Ich bin eine erfahrene Senior-Investmentbankerin mit über zwei Jahrzehnten Erfahrung und umfangreichen Fachkenntnissen, spezialisiert auf grenzüberschreitende Fusionen und Übernahmen innerhalb und ausserhalb von Europa. Kim Dibowski

After spending the summer of 2020 as an intern at Anecta, Anton was employed as an Analyst. During this time, he has worked in all areas of the transaction process and have so far been involved in transactions in SaaS, TMT, construction and consumer companies.

Before being employed at Anecta, Anton was at the Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund (AP4) for a little over a year. He has an MSc in International Business & Management from the University of Bath, School of Management in the UK.

Tina Cameron

Ich sehe es als meine Aufgabe, gute organisatorische Rahmenbedingungen zu schaffen und meine KollegInnen bei der erfolgreichen Durchführung ihrer M&A Projekte optimal zu unterstützen. Hierfür nutze ich die gut eingeführten Systeme und Abläufe und wirke mit bei der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Strukturen und Prozesse.

Ich spreche fließend Deutsch und Englisch. Meinen Master of Science in International Management erwarb ich an der University of Liverpool und arbeitete in den letzten 15 Jahren als Assistentin in verschiedenen Branchen in der Schweiz und in Deutschland.

Dr. Tillmann Bronner

Mein beruflicher Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt liegt seit über 25 Jahren auf der Beratung bei Mergers & Acquisitions. Und in dieser Zeit war fast alles dabei: Viele Kaufmandate und Verkaufsmandate, öffentliche Übernahmen, Privatisierungen, vom Start-up bis zum 150 Jahre alten Stadtwerk. Im Projektgeschäft ist es mir wichtig, für die jeweilige Situation mit den Kunden eine genau passende Lösungsstrategie zu entwickeln. Und dann zielgerichtet umzusetzen bis hin zum erfolgreichen Abschluss der Transaktion.

Die Mehrheit meiner vergangenen Beratungsprojekte waren internationale Transaktionen. Nach dem Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Goethe Universität Frankfurt und Promotion an der LMU in München verschlug es mich für ein paar Jahre in die Bereiche Warentermingeschäfte und Risikomanagement, bevor ich ins Investmentbanking wechselte mit beruflichen Stationen in Berlin und New York.

Lucas Winter

Seit meinem Einstieg bei Translink im Jahr 2023 konnte ich meine fundierten Kenntnisse aus dem Bachelor in Finance and Accounting sowie einem Jahr internationalen Studiums der Betriebswirtschaft in Paris einbringen. Meine Erfahrungen im Corporate Banking mit Schwerpunkt auf Key Account Kunden prägten meine analytischen und problemlösungsorientierten Fähigkeiten. Mittlerweile arbeite ich an Buy- und Sell-Side-Deals und unterstütze das Partner Team während des gesamten Deal-Prozess.

Durch meinen bisherigen Werdegang bin ich bestens gerüstet, um schnell und effektiv die essenziellen Aspekte von Geschäftsmodellen zu erkennen und in erfolgreichen M&A-Transaktionen umzusetzen. Der enge und regelmäßige Austausch mit allen Projektbeteiligten ist für mich unerlässlich, um optimale Ergebnisse für unsere Kunden zu erzielen.

Christian Fest

Nach Stationen bei internationalen Investmentbanken in Frankfurt, New York und Berlin habe ich 2004 mit Kollegen meine eigene M&A-Boutique gegründet. Diese haben wir erfolgreich zu einem auf Cross-Border-Transaktionen spezialisierten Beratungsunternehmen entwickelt. Seit dem Jahr 2023 verstärkt unser Team die Translink-Gruppe.

In meinen über 30 Jahren erfolgreicher M&A-Arbeit und über 100 Transaktionen ist es meine Erfahrung, dass jedes Kundenprojekt trotz mancher Parallelen immer einzigartig ist. Mich reizt es dabei immer wieder, die jeweiligen Motivationen meines Kunden und unserer Gegenüber herauszufinden und im Sinne des Projekterfolgs in Einklang zu bringen. Meine Kunden schätzen die enge persönliche und vertrauensvolle Begleitung von der Anbahnung bis zum Abschluss der Transaktion.

Tilman G. Eckstein

Tilman Eckstein verfügt über umfangreiche Kenntnisse in der Automobilindustrie, M&A und Corporate Finance. Er begann seine Karriere bei einem großen Automobilhersteller, wo er sechs Jahre lang im internationalen Vertrieb und Marketing tätig war. Danach arbeitete Tilman als Projektleiter an verschiedenen Business-Transformationsprojekten für zwei Münchner Beratungsunternehmen.

Vor seinem Eintritt als Partner bei Translink baute er über 10 Jahre eine eigene Beratungsboutique mit Schwerpunkt Automotive und Logistik auf. Als Experte für die Automobilbranche war Tilman dabei in mehreren Unternehmen als Interims-CEO tätig. In den letzten 25 Jahren war er an vielen M&A-Prozessen beteiligt, sowohl auf der Verkäufer- als auch auf der Käuferseite. Er hat zahlreiche Transaktionen in der Automobil- und Logistikbranche erfolgreich abgeschlossen und ist Mitglied in unseren Branchengruppen Automotive und Logistik.

Tilman hat einen Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaftslehre von der Universität zu Köln und spricht Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch.

Tanguy Du Chesnay

Tanguy has completed around fifty high-level operations on behalf of industrialists, entrepreneurs, and investment funds. He has more than 22 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and fundraising, with a focus on TMT (technology, media, and telecommunications) and energy and environmental transitions.

His professional background includes working as a partner at EY Corporate Finance and Ricol Lasteyrie CF, where he was involved in M&A (mergers and acquisitions). He has also worked for BNP Paribas and JP Morgan. Tanguy graduated from HEC with a specialization in Strategic Management.

Robin Schäfer

Im Rahmen meiner Ausbildung und Tätigkeit bei einer Bank, konnte ich sehr gute Grundlagen für das kundenorientierte Arbeiten lernen. Seit 2022 sammle ich nun Erfahrungen im M&A und war bereits an diversen nationalen und internationalen Transaktionen beteiligt. Ich war dabei sowohl auf der Buy- als auch auf der Sell-Side tätig.

Ich bin in der Lage, Geschäftsmodelle schnell zu durchdringen und die wesentlichen Alleinstellungsmerkmale eines Unternehmens herauszuarbeiten. Der enge und regelmäßige Austausch mit allen Projektbeteiligten ist für mich besonders wichtig.

Daniel Majewski

In den letzten Jahren konnte ich zahlreiche Transaktion, erfolgreich sowohl auf der Buy- wie auf der Sell Side begleiten. Auf diese Weise sammelte ich Erfahrungen in einer Vielzahl von Branchen.

Meine Mandanten unterstütze ich in allen Prozessschritten der Transaktion und bringe meine Kompetenzfelder Finanzmodellierung, Bewertung, Marktanalyse und die Erstellung von Marketingmaterialien gerne ein.

Petra Fischer

Seit über 20 Jahren begleite ich M&A-Prozesse, zunächst als CFO und CEO in der Bauindustrie und seit mehreren Jahren als M&A Beraterin. Meine Erfahrungen reichen von der Steuerung von M&A-Prozessen bis hin zur Integration von erworbenen Unternehmen in Konzernstrukturen. In den letzten Jahren habe ich M&A Beratungserfahrung in unterschiedlichen Branchen gesammelt, unter anderem im Industrie-, Bildungs- und Dienstleistungssektor.

Ich arbeite sehr zielorientiert, suche nach Lösungen „out of the box“ und baue gemeinsam mit meinen Kunden belastbare Brücken zwischen den Stakeholdern. Nach dem Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaft (WU Wien) habe ich in Österreich, der Schweiz, der Tschechischen Republik, Portugal und Deutschland gelebt und gearbeitet.

André Achtermeier

In den letzten 15 Jahren war ich an zahlreichen M&A-Transaktionen beteiligt. Als ehemaliger IT-Unternehmer baute ich meine eigenen Unternehmen auf und führte sie zu einem erfolgreichen Exit. Mehrere Jahre leitete ich meine eigene M&A-Boutique für deutsche mittelständische Unternehmen im Ruhrgebiet und liebe buy-side als auch sell-side Transaktionen.

Mich zeichnen eine hohe Flexibilität und Anpassungsfähigkeit aus, Fähigkeiten, die ich sowohl in den U.S.A. als auch on Deutschland erfolgreich anwende. „Geht nicht, gibt´s nicht“, ist mein Motto und damit führe ich Projekte erfolgreich für meine Kunden zuende.

Ich habe einen Abschluss in Wirtschaftsinformatik und meine Branchenschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen IT (Software und Hardware) sowie Healthcare und Tech.

Johannes Wolters

Mein beruflicher Fokus liegt auf der Beratung von Unternehmern sowie von Unternehmenstransaktionen im Small und Midcap Segment. Neben der fachlichen Ausbildung zum Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur bringe ich meine Kompetenzen des Fragenstellens und Zuhörens aus den Ausbildungen zum Mediator und Systemischen Coach ein. Mit meinem tiefen Branchenwissen aus dem internationalen Food & Beverage Sektor sowie aus vielen Beratungsprojekten unterstütze ich meine Kunden bei der Umsetzung ihrer Strategien.

In unseren Transaktionen begegnen sich die beteiligten Parteien auf Augenhöhe. Das ist nicht immer selbstverständlich und benötigt Unterstützung und so manch klare Rückmeldung. Es ist mir eine tägliche Freude, analytisch den Prozess voranzutreiben und gleichzeitig darauf zu achten, dass die Beteiligten empathisch gut eingebunden sind. ANDREAS HÜCHTING

Im Rahmen meiner eigenen unternehmerischen Tätigkeit habe ich von der Unternehmensgründung und operativen Führung bis hin zum Verkauf verschiedener Gesellschaften an deutsche Großkonzerne den gesamten Lebenszyklus von Unternehmen kennen gelernt. Diese Erfahrungen bringe ich seit der Gründung von Translink in Deutschland im Jahr 2007 in unsere Projekte ein.

Ich arbeite sehr erfolgsorientiert, meine besondere Stärke liegt in der Moderation sämtlicher Prozessbeteiligter mit dem Ziel, eine nachhaltige und für alle Seiten zufriedenstellende Lösung zu erreichen. Das Diplom als Betriebswirt erwarb ich an der Université de Fribourg (Schweiz) und spreche Englisch, Spanisch und Französisch.

Christian Hörner

Seit über 20 Jahren unterstütze ich Finanzinvestoren, Konzerne, mittelständische Unternehmen und Unternehmer bei der erfolgreichen Umsetzung von Unternehmensverkäufen und von Zukäufen in Deutschland und im Ausland.

Im Rahmen meiner beruflichen Tätigkeit durfte ich Erfahrungen bei einem Big Four Unternehmen und bei zwei Investmentbanken in den Bereichen M&A, Corporate Finance und Kapitalmärkte sammeln, am Umbau der „Deutschland-AG“ aktiv mitarbeiten und Kauf- und Verkaufsprozesse von DAX- und MDAX-Unternehmen „von der Pike auf“ kennenlernen. Diese Erfahrungen bringe ich seit über 13 Jahren in unsere Projekte ein.

Meine Leidenschaft gehört dem Mittelstand. Ich arbeite sehr ziel- und umsetzungsorientiert und bin erst zufrieden, wenn meine Kunden es sind. Denn ich engagiere mich immer für die langfristig beste und tragfähigste Lösung für meinen Mandanten und auch für alle anderen Projektbeteiligten. John has worked in the corporate finance industry for over 20 years including in M&A at a top six firm, as an investment professional at a private equity house and now at Translink Corporate Finance.

He enjoys advising a wide variety of business owners, management teams and financial institutions on a range of corporate transactions and strategies. Since joining Translink Corporate Finance John has been responsible for the successful delivery of several domestic and cross-border disposals and fund raisings including for a building products business which enabled transformational growth.

John spends his downtime either walking his dog Doris with his family, or road cycling in the peak district.

Andy has been providing corporate finance advice to owner managed businesses for well over a decade both within Baker Tilly’s M&A and Private Equity team and now at BHP Corporate Finance. He has substantial experience in advising directors, shareholders and management teams on many areas of strategy including corporate finance, acquisitions and exit/succession strategies for owner-managers. Andy won the Emerging Dealmaker award at the 2016 Insider Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards. He is a member of our food industry group, having closed several transactions in this sector.

Andrew has extensive experience of M&A, accountancy and financial analysis including significant exposure to both UK and international cross border buy and sell-side deals, having spent several years as a Corporate Financier with Translink UK CF and the ‘Big 4’ firms KPMG and EY. In addition, he has years of invaluable industry experience in the Energy, Technology and Engineering markets.

He has also attained Master of Arts degrees in both Accountancy and Finance and in Economics from the University of Aberdeen. Andrew is dedicated to supporting Translink’s global client base on all aspects of their M&A, fundraising and growth strategies, helping to achieve and maximise value for the owners, businesses and investors that we work for. Don has over 20 years’ corporate finance experience. He joined BHP Corporate Finance in 2006 having previously worked in the corporate finance teams at EY, KPMG and PwC. He has a wide range of transaction experience, in advising both private and quoted businesses, specialising in corporate M&A, buyouts and lead advisory services. Don has particular expertise in working with shareholders and management teams of private companies, helping them maximise value through competitive processes, many of which are international in nature. Don has transacted across a broad variety of sectors but he has a particular interest in manufacturing, engineering and technology. Stuart is a Partner in Translink UK and has over 25 years of experience of global sell and buy side deals. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Stuart qualified with Ernst & Young, the ‘Big 4’ accounting firm, where he commenced his Corporate Finance career.

Stuart established an independent M&A practice in 2004 that is now part of Translink Corporate Finance UK serving both UK and international clients on sales, acquisitions, buy-outs and carve-outs, helping achieve the strategies of entrepreneurs, family owned businesses, private equity backed businesses and listed companies. He is the head of Translink’s Global Automotive Group, having closed numerous transactions in this sector and is also active in Healthcare, TMT and Industrials Sectors.

Since transferring into BHP Corporate Finance in 2006 having graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA in Mathematics, Kevin has worked on a range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals and management buy-outs. With around 20 years of Corporate Finance experience, Hamish joined BHP Corporate Finance in 2012 after starting his career at EY and then a UK national firm. He has a reputation of delivering outstanding results for his clients whilst providing them with great strategic insight and innovative solutions to problems. He also built and exited two successful technology start-ups. He has executed transactions in the technology, industrial, media, renewable energy, and natural resource sectors. Jacques-Henri Rième

Jacques-Henri is an M&A professional with extensive experience in both buy-side and sell-side transactions. He began his career with MK Finance (Deloitte) back in the mid-2000s. Over the past years, he has advised many transactions in the building and construction sectors and the aeronautic industry among others. Jacques-Henri co-founded Financiere Monceau in 2011. João Patrício Dos Santos

João has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of Private Equity and Corporate Finance, advising Portuguese and international clients in capital raising deals, financial restructurings, privatisations, and cross-border M&A transactions. Before founding Translink Finance Setting, he was Head of Corporate Finance for Portugal at BNP Paribas and worked for other Portuguese and international financial institutions. Mikołaj Martyński

Mikołaj has over 10 years of experience in M&A advisory, previously working for the international consulting companies KPMG and Grant Thornton. He graduated from the Poznań University of Economics and holds a master’s degree in capital investments and financial strategies of enterprise. Mikołaj also graduated from ISCTE in Lisbon focusing on Corporate Finance. He is a member of our logistics and IT industry groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.

Maciej Cieślak

MANAGING PARTNER

Maciej has over twenty years of experience in equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, as well as market entry strategies for foreign investors. Before founding Holon Consultants in 2002, he was a Manager in a British management consultancy company – Central Europe Trust. He held UNIDO lectures and training programmes for Polish companies. He graduated in Physics from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and Heidelberg University. He holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics. Jamy has a master degree in tax and accountancy and over 18 years’ of work experience. He started his career at the audit firm Kompaan Accountants. Prior to founding Gut Corporate Finance, Alex worked for Big 4 firms for over 16 years, advising national and international banking and insurance clients in Zurich and London. Mr. Calderone joined Dinan & Company in 2003. He spent his first 3 years at Dinan & Company in the Firm’s Deal Origination Group where he sourced over 300 proprietary deals. Previously, she co-founded Bank of America’s mergers and acquisitions group (then Continental Bank) and served as Managing Director and Group Head of Bank of America’s Initiated Transactions Group where she advised corporate and private equity clients on divestitures, exclusive sales and acquisitions. He was instrumental in rolling out and managing business intelligence services out of the Egon Zehnder’s shared services center. Previously he was with the Chicago based boutique firm, Gerson Lehrman Group, and was also part of the pilot team of Heidrick & Struggle’s knowledge management center in India. Through his career, Mr. Negi has worked with Clients in India, the US and Europe and has also written several reports on topics such as innovation, diversity, gaming and the casino industry in Asia, human capital trends, compensation trends of board members etc.

Prior to joining Dinan & Company in 2005, Ms. Martinez was President of CARA Corp., an IT Consulting/Staffing firm. She organized and executed a successful management buyout from Spiegel in 1996, later selling the company to Affiliated Computer Services (now Xerox), and remaining as an executive with the organization. Ms. Martinez was involved with the sale of the IT Services division in 2000 to Monster Worldwide, a major internet/human capital management organization. She helped facilitate add-on acquisitions and participated in post-merger integrations. Prior to CARA, Ms. Martinez was employed in various marketing positions with Texas Instruments and NCR Corp.
Ms. Martinez received her MBA from George Washington University, and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

He has also been the initiator of both a franchised food company with several outlets as well as the founder of a business matching start up companies, with seed capital investors, called Equity Match.

Ross has attended conferences around the world on subjects that impact upon the M&A industry and has been a regular lecturer and trainer on the subject.

Before joining Maciej at Holon in 2011, he worked as an interim manager for external development projects through the 2000s. In the 1990s we worked for six years at Central Europe Trust, and four years at Deutsche Bank, in London and Warsaw. Alberto has extensive experience in the field of corporate finance with years of experience in both equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He began his career as an equity analyst and proceeded to work for Milla & Co (predecessor of Banca Leonardo), Caboto and for Pasfin Securities, then sold to BNP Paribas. At BNPP he was a member of the equity research team for the automotive, telecom and media sectors, reaching the rank as best Italian telecom analyst in 2000 (Extel). The same year BNPP appointed him head of Italian TMT Corporate Finance. In 2003 he joined Abaxbank (owned by Credito Emiliano) where he led the first round of restructuring. Prior to joining Translink, he was Senior Associate with the Italian office of AICA – Alliance of International Corporate Advisors, a global investment banking partnership specializing in cross-border mid-market transactions. He began his career in 2010 as a Junior Analyst with the Private Equity team of Palladio Finanziaria.
Alberto earned a MS with honors in Banking and Finance and a BS in Business Economics both from the University of Padua.
Italian native, he lived in the US and is fluent in English.

Jeh Patel

Jeh Patel is an Analyst at Translink Strempel & Company. He is a graduate in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in economics. Piercarla Delpiano

PierCarla Delpiano has a degree in Economics from the University of Genoa. She has more than twenty years of experience in leading positions both in public administrations and private companies. In 1998 she was the first woman in Italy to become City Manager. In the private sector, she has been Director of Communication and External Relations at Fiera Milano spa, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (2008-2018). She has also collaborated with important Universities (Bocconi and Iulm in Milan) and consulting companies (School of Public Administration of Lucca, Consiel). She took part and taught in specialization courses and masters (High School of Economics and Finance, Uncem, SDA Bocconi), and she was a speaker at national and international conferences. She is currently adjunct professor for the Master in Corporate Communications at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. President of the Board of Directors at Fondazione Stelline, Milan, since 2013.

Luigi Padula

Luigi has been involved for almost 20 years within listed and OTC international financial markets, working mainly with MPS Asset Management, Prima sgr and Anima sgr. He worked as fund manager and buy side analyst, both on equity and corporate debt markets (investment grade and high yield). He also worked within the macroeconomic department research of MPS Asset Management Sgr and as analyst and manager of credit derivatives products (CDOs and CSOs). From 2013 to mid-2016 we worked as sell-side equity analyst (Hammer Partners) on listed Italian companies. Later he gained experience in M&A as sell-side advisor from the origination to the successful sale of a food processing SME to a PE. Before joining Translink he worked within the Treasury Department of Piaggio Aerospace. Luigi holds a degree in Economics from University of Pisa and a Master in Finance (CUOA-Altavilla Vicentina).

Fabrizio Malavolti

Fabrizio Malavolti has a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan. He has extensive experience in corporate finance and equity markets. He worked as portfolio manager for SanPaolo Imi Asset Management and Monte Paschi Asset Management on Asian equity markets and sales covering Japanese equity markets for Merrill Lynch and then for Mizuho International in London. From 2009 to 2012 he collaborated with a UK regulated company on renewable energy investments; in 2013 he set up a company in involved in energy savings works, of which he was managing director. He worked on M&A operations in collaboration with Labs Investments and BCR Consulting. In 2004 he successfully completed the CFA. He also carried out several volunteer activities for the CFA Society Italy: designing and organizing the conference at Borsa Italiana „From Italy with value“ in 2013 and 2014 and acting as Mentor for the CFA Research Challenge from 2012 to 2014..

Giampaolo Cogliati

Giampaolo Cogliati has developed his career within the Investment Banking sector. He has particularly focused on Structured Finance, Equity and Debt Capital Markets and on M&A advisory. He has been a Senior Executive in several Italian and international banking groups to finally concentrate on advisory activity. Giampaolo has been Credit Analyst in Banque Indosuez; member of Structured Finance team in Crédit Lyonnais becoming Head of Acquisition Finance; Head of Structured Finance in Abaxbank, Investment Bank of Credito Emiliano Group; Relationship Manager and Head of Credit Analysis & Structuring in Natixis;. Mr. Larsen worked for Orkla (16 years) specializing in SVP Business Dev. Orkla Food Ingredients, sales and marketing direction in Denofa and Idun Industri. He was a sales manager at Bjørge Offshore, cost and planning engineer Saga Petroleum. He has 15 years of M&A experience from Orkla Corp. Dev. and Synergos. Karl-Børre Gilje

Karl-Børre has about 20 years of experience from Orkla and Carlsberg, where he has had positions as sales and marketing director, purchasing and logistics director as well as director of new business. In Finland, he has worked at Merita, RBS and Sisu Partners. Sami was also the CEO of Nordic Trustee in Finland, participating in over 50 bond structures with over 4 billion of capital. His Uusi Neuvotteluvalta – You get what you negotiate, not what you deserve (WSOY) was the most popular audio business book in Finland for almost three months in 2019. He has also co-authored two economic books for the Libera Foundation. Sami holds an M.Sc. (Econ.) from Helsinki School of Economics, an MBA from Tulane University and is a CFA. Pontus Backlund has been working with M&A since 2006. He has advised Finnish entrepreneurs, international corporations and private equities and executed numerous cross-border M&A transactions. Marc Irisson

Marc is an M&A professional with over 10 years of experience. He started his career as an analyst with MK Finance and then completed his financial background with an MBA from Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. He co-founded Financiere Monceau back in 2011 and headed up the food and beverage industry, as well as the IT sectors. He has completed several transactions, both buy and sell-side, with French and foreign clients. Marc enjoys working with young entrepreneurs to help them on their startup venture. He has participated in various deals within the IT sector and is the head of our IT industry group.

Mathieu Lemesle

FOUNDING PARTNER

Mathieu, Managing Director at Financiere Monceau, has gained experience in M&A since the early 2000s. He started his career as an auditor at RSM International France. Subsequently, he joined MK Finance (Deloitte) as an M&A analyst and quickly moved to a partner level. He then co-founded Financiere Monceau in 2011. Over the past few years, Mathieu has gained an extensive experience in M&A, both sell-side and buy-side, mostly in the healthcare industry, and the building and construction sectors. He also fancies working on distressed M&A deals. He is a partner of Translink since early 2017. Antoine Moser

Antoine Moser has more than 25 years of experience in corporate development and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). He studied at the University of Delft and complemented his education with an MBA of IMD in Lausanne. In his role after that as business developer and M&A dealmaker within various large international corporates he has built up hands-on experience in managing many cross-border M&A projects in various industry sectors such as Chemistry, ICT, BP Outsourcing and TIC (testing, inspection and certification).

With his technology background and several high-tech start-up experiences Antoine specifically has a great affinity with technology driven sectors allowing him to efficiently generate as a “rainmaker” relevant deals from the buying, selling or financing side. Maarten De Boer

Maarten has worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions area for over 15 years and assisted corporates with a large number of (international) transactions. Maarten holds degrees in Finance & Business Administration and has a broad experience in all aspects of Financial Management and Merger & Acquisitions. Before joining Translink he was Executive Vice President and board member at Barentz and (amongst others) led the M&A activity of this Group. For which he managed multiple M&A deals accros the globe.

Dick Kroot

Dick has a lot of experience as an entrepreneur and executive. He achieved his business studies and MBA degree from Nyenrode Business University and has been active as a CEO and in commercial and general management positions within several firms. His specialties are negotiations, creating self-steering teams, revenue & profit growth and team development primarily for the agriculture, food, feed, additives and trading industry. He also has a strong practical experience in mergers and acquisitions. Dick has participated in various deals within the food sector and is member of our food industry group.

Henrik Schroder

Henrik has been involved in M&A since the beginning of the ’90s, where he established his own company, Schrøder Partners A/S. In 2015 he sold his company to BDO, worked there for two years, and then founded Schrøder Translink A/S. The company specializes in M&A of small and medium-sized companies. Over the years, Henrik has personally participated in more than 150 transactions, many of which have been in cooperation with Translink Corporate Finance colleagues. Hendrik is also involved in board work in several companies. He has done numerous deals in the industrials sector and is a leader of our industrials group.

Claus Melgaard

Partner

Claus holds an engineering degree within energy transformation, thermo dynamics and electronics. He has a background with more than 15 years of experience with executive management in companies as Nilfisk Advance, Philips and Maxon Telecom. From 2001 until now he has worked within corporate finance, first as CEO for a Danish Venture fund and from 2007 he joined Translink Corporate Finance as partner in the Danish Office Schrøder Translink A/S. From 2015 until 2017 Claus was member of the BDO corporate finance. Claus has participated in many transactions within TMT, general industry among others. Claus is member of the Translink industry groups covering Logistics and IT.

Jens Borelli-Kjær

Jens holds an engineering degree and an MBA (INSEAD). His career has spanned the electronics, medical devices and building materials industries. For over a decade he held senior management positions in Coloplast, JAI and Icopal. In 2005 he acquired Vitral A/S, a DK/UK-based manufacturer of roof lights and took it successfully through the financial crisis, including transfer of production to Lithuania. In 2018 Vitral was sold to the VELUX group. Jens has significant experience in sales, marketing, and operations.

He has participated in several transactions both as seller and buyer, in Denmark and internationally. He has extensive board room experience from private and public Danish companies, including chairmanships. Jens is head of our healthcare industry group and a member of our industrials group, having closed several transactions in these sectors.

Michael Anderson CA (SA) has 20 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer, a Director of Companies and as a consultant. He has served in several executive positions, among others at the European office of Ogilvy & Mather (WPP Group plc) and Old Mutual Plc. Michael has executed transactions in the financial services, banking, media, agricultural, mining and property sectors. JANET SO

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Janet has a BS in journalism from Chengchi University, an MS degree in computer science from CSU and an EMBA from National Taiwan University. Before joining Trinergy in 2011, Janet worked as a systems analyst for IBM, APL, and ARCO in the USA. She has also worked as a PR and marketing manager for Trans Asia Airways in Taiwan, a senior consultant for the Blue Focus and Dream Work PR firms, and a consulting director for McGraw Hill’s Aviation Week in Shanghai. Janet is a Director at Trinergy responsible for business development. She is a member of our logistics, food, and IT groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.

SIMON LI

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Dr Li holds a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and master and bachelor’s degrees in Materials Science and Polymer Materials from Tongji University. He has a strong engineering background, from Singapore Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, and China’s Neusoft and Pengxin Groups. He also has strong investment and financing experience. He has been responsible for closing more than a dozen domestic and foreign M&A projects with a value of over RMB5bn. Dr Li is the author of „Guidebook for Investment M&A along with the ‚Belt and Road‘ Countries“. He is a member of our IT industry group.

ROUHAN LIU

Rouhan received his bachelor’s degree from Nankai University and master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Before joining Trinergy, he worked at a CPA firm in Southern California, leading its business valuation department, and was involved in its individual and business tax practices. Rouhan passed all three levels of the CFA exam.

Huskar obtained a double master’s degree in International Business Management from the University of Sydney and the CEMS Global Alliance. He also exchanged at Bocconi Italy, with all ACCA exams passed. Before joining Trinergy, he worked for Coca-Cola in Italy and later joined a leading internet company in China in charge of investment and financing.

HAIRONG WANG

Hairong graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with a bachelor’s degree in English and an MS degree in accountancy from Maastricht University. Before Trinergy, she worked at a certified tax firm, responsible for tax consulting over cross-border investment and auditing projects of corporate income tax. She then worked at Thomson Reuters as a financial market data analyst. Hairong is a member of our logistics, industrials, and IT groups.

DR. RIKKI TAI

Dr Tai is Trinergy’s Hong Kong Representative and a Director of Trinergy’s IT M&A unit. He holds a PhD in Finance from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and a master’s degree in Control Engineering and Operation Research from Cambridge University. Dr Tai has over 20 years of senior and general management experience in the IT industry with Alphasem Ag, Tec-sem Group, QC Solutions, and Kras Asia in the Asian Pacific area.

Dr Lai graduated from the Law School of Peking University, Schulich School of Business at the York University of Canada, and received a PhD in Economics (Finance) from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
